Keep Your Town Pretty

Many small towns and villages are losing their charm and uniqueness, if not disappearing with larger ubiquitous stores sucking the life force out of the community feel. It may be inevitable but a shame, and wished it could be slowed down.

  1. Agreed, by both my husband and I. We do our VERY best to not only support the smaller businesses and growers in our area, but deliberately try to avoid the larger. I don't think either one of us has shopped at a Walmart in 5 or 6 years now. We try to avoid China made products (sorry guys, but if its going to affect our country this much, we should rethink our decisions, and you're getting more work than we can afford to share), and we try, try try to get American made products whenever possible. If anyone has any suggestions for more that we could be doing to do our part, please by all means, share!
