Kes was one of my favourite books as a kid. The movie was excellent also. Billy Casper is a school kid who lives in the North of England in a mining town whose only companion is a kestrel hawk. I should perhaps add a hint of coal mining structures in the background, or give a slight feel of an industrial northern town.

This is a favourite illustration of mine that was used for the Beaulieu National Motor Museum in England. It's a fantastic museum with the largest collection of beautiful vintage cars I have ever seen. Also there are lots of rides and information for both kids and adults.
Many small towns and villages are losing their charm and uniqueness, if not disappearing with larger ubiquitous stores sucking the life force out of the community feel. It may be inevitable but a shame, and wished it could be slowed down.
A perfect assignment for me. Images of coffee or coffee drinking evoking the vintage poster style. These were used for the packaging for Melitta Coffee.
I love old posters, especially car racing and travel posters. This vintage style poster was created as a promotional poster for a new design agency called Red Racer Design.
Here is a cover illustration for Nexos Magazine. It is the Spanish inflight magazine for American Airlines. The background was a lovely coincidence as it subtly reflected the Colombian flag colours.
This was done for Container Store (comp stage). I love to build up layers of color and textures as though it was layers of oil or acrylic paint except it's layers in Photoshop.
Here is the second image that I created for Windstar Cruises. I love the painterly texture that I achieved. This and all the others were created in Photoshop.
