This is a cover I created for Ascott Living for their 30th. Anniversary issue.  The assignment included several interior spots also.
Selected travel locations highlighted include a tuk tuk taxi, Singapore Shophouses, Petronas Towers, Japanese cherry blossoms, Dubai, The Great Wall of China and Big Ben Westminster.

On the Mediterranean in a Riva boat.

I love the look of Riva boats, and wanted to illustrate one in a Mediterranean setting on a late warm August afternoon.

Travel Poster

Travel poster in a 3rd variation.  The headline type is Bauhaus Light.  I added a BOAC logo, because it is a beautiful logo and fondly remember flying to America in BOAC VC 10's.

Retro Style Travel Poster

This retro style travel poster was created for myself, incorporating six travel spot illustrations that were created for AAA Magazine.  I wanted to give it a late 50's early 60's illustration feel to it.

QVC Los Angeles Poster

This was one of the posters created for QVC @LA LIVE, a special edition of QVC for the West coast. The poster was enlarged to 8' X 10' for the studio set. The Art Director was Howard Schiller.

Paradise Cove Southern California

This was done from a rejected rough for QVC. I will post the two chosen final illustrations after this post. I wanted it to look 1960's in illustration style.

Budweiser Poster

This was a poster done for Budweiser a while ago but still is one of my favourites. Somebody was enquiring about it recently which led me to want to re-post it. The poster was put up in various bars.

Sunoco Free Gas Campaign

You can now see my art at your local Sunoco gas station. The poster is for a contest where you can win 5000 free gallons of fuel just for getting noticed with a Sunoco sticker on your car. I wanted to do a retro style car poster reminiscent of the 50's and 60's. The car illustrated is an Austin Healey 3000. A great British sports car.

Mango Soap Label

My design for the Mango Shower Gel label. I gave this more of a slightly old world feel.

One of 4 illustrations to represent the 4 seasons. Here is Winter which I thought would be fitting for the beginning of the year. I hope to post the other 3 seasons shortly. I love the look of sixties fashion illustration.

Keep Your Town Pretty

Many small towns and villages are losing their charm and uniqueness, if not disappearing with larger ubiquitous stores sucking the life force out of the community feel. It may be inevitable but a shame, and wished it could be slowed down.

Hotel Bellhop

This was done for Container Store (comp stage). I love to build up layers of color and textures as though it was layers of oil or acrylic paint except it's layers in Photoshop.

Windstar Cruises Travel Image

Here is the second image that I created for Windstar Cruises. I love the painterly texture that I achieved. This and all the others were created in Photoshop.
